Full-term newborn with echogenic fetal lung mass in prenatal sonogram

Postnatal management of infants with prenatally diagnosed fetus with echogenic fetal lung depends on the infant's system at the time of birth. Infants with large lesions may have symptoms at birth, while a symptomatic infant with normal radiographs will require a CT scan or more advanced MRI studies 4-6 weeks before discharge from the maternity hospital.
