Arthrogryposis is a syndrome that can occur in several diseases, all of which have stiffness of multiple joints in common. Once the diagnosis is made, the prognosis depends on the severity of the clinical presentation and when early diagnosis occurs. Treatment depends on the etiology, so management varies from case to case. If arthrogryposis is suspected, physicians should pay attention to the amount of amniotic fluid, fetal motricity, and swallowing movements, and look for amyotrophy or limb abnormalities. We report a particular case of prenatal diagnosis of arthrogryposis with excess amniotic fluid.
